How to display an experpt from a blog post 

Step 1: Go to Blog Posts
Step 2: Select the blog post 
Step 3: Click on Add excerpt
Step 4: Insert the content
Step 5: Save

Step 1: Go to Blog Posts

Log in to your Shopify admin > Click on the Online Store > Select Blog Posts on the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Select the blog post 

In the Blog posts page, you select the post's title to get to its settings. 

Step 3: Click on Add excerpt

Scrolling down to the Experpt block that placed under the post content. Then, clicking on the Add excerpt to continue

Step 4: Insert the content

In this step, you just enter the content you want into the text editor.

Step 5: Save

After you satisfy with the content on the excerpt, then clicking on either the green button - Save place at the top right or at the bottom right corner of the page.
